Raw Carrot Ginger Soup

carrot-ginger-conThis is a great raw soup that allows you to get all of the nutrients and detoxing properties, while satisfying you with a hearty and warm taste.

Ingredients:
¼ inch chunk of fresh, organic ginger

5 large organic carrots

1 large parsnip

1 organic avocado, peeled and pitted

½ bunch fresh organic cilantro

1 T. Bragg Liquid Aminos

2 T. olive oil

½ lemon juiced/squeezed

¼ tsp. pink sea salt

pinch cayenne pepper to taste (optional)


 

Instructions:
1. Finely grate the ginger and juice the carrots and parsnip to produce about 2 cups of juice.

2. Place ginger, carrot/parsnip juice, avocado, cilantro, cayenne pepper, lemon juice and liquid protein concentrate in a blender; mix until smooth.

3. Pour the soup into individual serving bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves

4. Drizzle with olive oil and sea salt.
