Energizing Green Smoothie

green_smoothieThis energizing green smoothie can be made to taste by using any of the ingredient suggestions below. Start with a great blender, your fruits, vegies and superfoods of choice, some ice, fresh pure water and blend. You can pour your smoothie into mason jars and enjoy throughout the day.

First, start with 2 parts fruit:

(choose 2 from the list below)

  • banana
  • apple
  • pear
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 raspberries

 

Next, add your greens!

(about 2 cups)

  • spinach
  • chard
  • kale
  • cabbage
  • parsley
  • cilantro
  • romaine lettuce

 

“Mix-ins”

(1 Tbs. of as many as you wish)

  • flax seeds
  • maca powder
  • spirulina
  • chai seeds
  • greens powder

 

Put everything into a blender with approximately 2 cups of water, some ice if you like, and blend:)
